AIP is looking for a project engineer to help us realize international design & build projects. We develop building systems for complex structures in collaboration with renowned architects, design teams and clients. We are seeking for an project engineer that can jump right into running projects & bring new ideas to the team. Our projects are located in the EU and US and we collaborate with a wide variety of international clients, designers & architects.

Starting date: Q1 2024

​

A project engineer within our team manages the fabrication of our projects and provides all production information (CAD) to suppliers. Throughout a project you will:

  • Create building solutions as part of the team

  • Provide and manage project data and contract documents

  • Manage project milestones (submittals, samples & deliveries)

  • Visit suppliers and sub-contractors in the Netherlands 

  • Check and report on quality during fabrication

  • Technical assistance on-site during installation

What we ask:
​

Hands-on mentality and helicopter view on organization.

​

Education: HBO/WO or equivalent experience

Languages: Dutch & English

 

We expect experience or extensive curiosity to:​

  • Industrial processes, digital fabrication and building techniques.

  • Project management during construction phase of mid-level projects.

  • Contract documents (specifications, drawing sets & product data sheets).

  • Managing design development processes, from concept to fabrication phase.

​

Our front-end communication & documentation is mostly in English. Communications with our local suppliers and projects are in Dutch. We expect you to regularly visit projects sites & suppliers.

​

The backbone of our engineering workflow is Rhino (concept) & Solid Edge (production). Assisted with an in-house development of Grasshopper scripts to assist the design development. Experience in Rhino modelling is a minimum requirement.
