Copper cladded pavilion
The Garden House is an exquisite pavilion designed for a private client in the serene surroundings of Bunnik, Netherlands. This striking structure is cladded in rich copper, which not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also ensures durability and a unique aging process that will see the pavilion evolve beautifully over time.
The design focuses on creating a harmonious relationship between the indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing natural light to permeate while offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The layout promotes a sense of tranquility, making the Garden House an ideal retreat for relaxation or social gatherings.
AIP, known for their expertise in crafting bespoke architectural elements, undertook the construction of the pavilion, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship throughout the building process. The use of copper cladding serves to reflect the changing seasons, creating a dynamic visual experience as the material transitions from bright to a deep patina.
The Garden House not only serves as a functional space for leisure and enjoyment but also stands as a testament to thoughtful design and the beauty of natural materials. It embodies the essence of modern architecture while blending seamlessly with its lush, green surroundings.
